He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Collins and Minnie Collins; his son Johnny Collins; and his siblings, Carolyn Smith (Herman), Patsy Trichell and Billy Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Fairy Collins; his children, Jerry R. Collins, Jr. (Missy), Jeffery Collins, Jason Collins (Stephanie), Butchie Barnett (Kim) and Carol Till; and his siblings, David Collins (Carol) and Jean Stearns (Chuck). He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
