He is survived by: his father James Frank Jernigan, Jr.; his wife Sheryl White; his children, James Richard Jernigan II (Ern Jernigan), Dr. Grant Jernigan (Brittany Hudson Jernigan) and Rachel Jernigan Power (Casey Power); and his grandchildren, Ava Jernigan, Jada Jernigan, Elizabeth Power, Jackson Power and Caleb Power.
