He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Fowler, Sr. and Rosalda "Rose" Mims Fowler. He is survived by: his sisters, Rosanne Fowler Kennedy and Elizabeth Fowler Hawk; his stepsons, James Anders (Dianne) and Richard Anders (Lynn); and his former wife Deborah McMillan Fowler. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
