He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Brantly and Julia McLeod Brantly; his wife Nancy Bernstein Brantly; and his sisters, Gloria Brantly Garvin and Mickey Brantly Muckelrath.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Brantly (DeAwna) and Jennifer Brantly Thomson (Brian); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Brantly, Jr. (Kathryn), Elizabeth Shelton (Ben), James Brantly and Jessica Brantly; and his great grandchildren, Frankie Leigh Shelton and Gentry Shelton. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
