He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Barnes and Lela Barnes; his brother William Jackson Barnes; and his son-in-law Kemmy McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Margie Barnes; his daughters, Vicky McDonald and Judy Stevens (William "Sandy"); his grandchildren, Ryan McDonald (Laura), Drew McDonald (Kelsey) and Allison Walker (Sean); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey McDonald, Gavin McDonald, Maddox McDonald and Colin McDonald.
