He was predeceased by: his children, Terri Jackson and Randy Strickland; and his siblings, Malloy "Red" Strickland, Jerry Strickland, Roy Strickland and Ethel Dyer.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Maxine Strickland; his children, Patti Strickland, Tammy Sykes (Doug) and John Strickland (Kim); and his siblings, Robert Strickland (Betty Jo), Jacob Strickland, Rita Jane Dyer and Patricia Strickland. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
