He is survived by: his sister Martha Holliman Preston; his nieces, Amy Preston Shelby (Robert) and Kelly Nicole Preston; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cade Shelby, Ian Shelby, Tate Shelby, Cai Shelby, Abram Shelby, Emma Shelby, Sarah Shelby, Asa Shelby, Isaac Shelby and Anna Claire Shelby.
