Helen left this world on December 10, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Archie Ray Moore; her parents, Charles Emmett Brownlee and Nettie Elizabeth Cole Brownlee; and her siblings, Willie Bell Brownlee, Ella Brownlee Holloway, J. D. "Dit" Brownlee, Buddy Brownlee and Ben Brownlee.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lee Moore, Michael Steven Mayes, Beverly Moore Whetstone (Kevin) and Linda Moore Fontana (S. J.); and her grandchildren, Robert Moore, Shawn Mayes, Chris Mayes, Alicia Pitts, Lindsey Moore, Nicholas Fontana and Lauren Fontana. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; along with other cherished family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens (8729 Cypress St, West Monroe, LA 71291).
