She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Hines and Lottie Hines; her husbands, Douglas Benson, Sr. and Claude Sullivan; her children, Douglas Benson, Jr. and Terressa Benson; her grandson Shannon Benson; her sisters, Margie Ritter and Faye Wilhelm; and her brother-in-law Robert Fowler.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Dana Benson; her grandchildren, Lee Benson, Jason Benson (Crystal), Jennifer Benson and Brandy Taylor; her granddaughter-in-law Vicki Benson; her great grandchildren, Jacob Benson (Ashley), Austin Benson, Landon Benson, Jayce Benson, Oscar Benson, Madison Bernice, Preston Bernice and Malorie Taylor; and her siblings, Ruby Fowler and T. L. Hines (Marie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
