He was predeceased by: his wife Ada Louise Richie. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Crain (Dewayne), Chere Bennett and Mark Richie (Melissa). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
