We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2019, at the age of 88, Gloria Whitman (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Calhoun, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herbert and Maybell Thompson; her siblings, Melvin Thompson, William "Doodle" Thompson, Jr., James Thompson, Ray Thompson, Blanche Rout, Lois Maza and Betty Thompson; and her sons, Allen Whitman and George Whitman.
She is survived by: her sister Faye Graham Moore of Farmerville, LA; and her children, Huey Whitman, Jr. (Cheryll) of Metairie, LA, Peggy Lively (Burt) of Torrington, CT and Ruthie Hamdan of Shreveport, LA.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
