She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanchard Hines Sr. and Helen Roberts Hines; and her brother-in-law Jerry Peoples. She is survived by: her husband Gene Brewster; her sons, Emmitt S. Cowart Jr. (Natalie), Jason Cowart and Tracy Cowart; and her siblings, Sue Hines Peoples of Calhoun, LA and Blanchard Hines Jr. of Goldonna, LA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
