It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Blakeney in West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Gaines and Mary Gaines; her brother David Gaines; and her husband Ronald L. Blakeney. She is survived by: her children, Kyle Blakeney, Sr., Mike, Tanya Blakeney and Ronald Blakeney, II; her grandchildren, Kyle Blakeney II, Chris Blakeney, Casey Blakeney, Cody Blakeney, Camden Blakeney, Grayson Blakeney, Hannah, Martin Cody, Nina Howard, Elizabeth and Dylan Stauffer; and her great grandchildren, Naomi Young, Mason Young, Francis Cody IV and Gunner Danna.
