He was predeceased by: his wife Ola Mae Bishop; his parents, Snyder Bishop and Myrtle Bishop; and his siblings, Snyder Bishop, Paul Bishop, Randolph Bishop and Jerrene Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Jennene Martin and Terry Bishop; his grandchildren, Scotty Lindsay (Alice) of Jason Lindsay and Amanda Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Cliff Lindsay, Jake Lindsay, Garrett Lindsay and Jackson Lindsay; and his brother James Bishop (Ellen) of Bastrop, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
