She was predeceased by: her husband John Baswell; her parents, Leonard Ellis and Bonnie Ellis; and her sister Sandra Ruth Grace. She is survived by: her children, Richard Leonard Baswell (Brenda) of New Braunfels, TX, Sally Baswell Stutson (Ben) of West Monroe, LA and John Edd Baswell; her pet Petunia of Beecher, IL; her grandchildren, Channing Alexander Stutson, Kelsey Mildred Bettevy, Kaitlyn Savanna Baswell, Courtney Elizabeth Bettevy, Madison Grace Baswell, Richard Austin Baswell, Casey Joy Sylvester (Joseph), Kylie Ann Stutson and Madison George; her great grandchildren, Henry Stutson, Jack Stutson, Meredith Stutson, Benjamin Jones and William Bettevy; and her sisters, Margie Jean Bell of Hattiesburg, MS, Ellen Dane Prisock of Madison, MS and Connie Greer of Laurel, MS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection (105 N Montgomery St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
