He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Thomas Martin Sr. and Flora Ina McQuaig. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Sharon Kay Martin Reitzammer, Gilbert Thomas Martin III and Kimberly Ina Martin; his daughter-in-law Pamela Ferguson Martin; his grandchildren, Heather Elizabeth Martin, Ryan Phillip Reitzammer (Lauren), Gilbert Thomas "Tommy" Martin IV (Jocelyn), Shane Isaac Reitzammer (Kirsten) and Ella Sage Reitzammer Carmona (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Kasen Nathaniel Martin, Logan Alexander Martin, Tristan Danger Reitzammer, Ella Juliet Carmona, Maverick Spencer Reitzammer, Pierce Spencer Reitzammer, Emma Skylar Carmona, Nolan Welles Reitzammer, Elara Rylan Carmona, Skylynn Winter Carmona, Kya Jade Reitzammer and Parker Leigh Reitzammer; and his siblings, Virginia Martin, Carmen Elizabeth Russell, Lola Mae Custer, Helen June Fontenot and Kenneth Ray Martin (Leonard Phillip "Rocky" Reitzammer). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Tom lovingly cared for Dot during her protracted battle with Parkinson's until the end in 2007.
