He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Spillers and Mary Ellen Spillers; his daughter Nona Gail Sawyer; and his sisters, Mary Ella Weems and Elbie Lucille Pylant.
He is survived by: his wife Topsy Mae Spillers of West Monroe; his children, Pamula Spivey (Mike) of Northport, AL, Marsha Turner of Chatham and Regina Burkett of Brandon, MS; his sister Joyce Anding (Ray) of West Monroe; and his grandchildren, Jamie Spillers (Heather), Shane Spillers, Jason Turner (Stacie), Tonya Williams (Tracy) and Doug Rogers (Martina). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
