She was predeceased by: her former husband Rev. Herman M. Savoie, Sr.; and her parents, Leon Travis and Martile Travis. She is survived by: her husband Doyle Canterbury; and her children, Sandy S. Cameron (Gus), Herman M. "Butch" Savoie, Jr. (Lori), Ken Savoie and Becky S. Lawrence (Gary). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Music Ministry at McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
