He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Jane McClendon; his daughter Dewanna "DeeDee" McClendon; his parents, John Keller and Daisy Edna Davis McClendon; and his sister Billie Jean Bates Newton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Suttle (Keith) and Donna Minter (Darryl); his grandson Brandon Suttle (Katie); his great grandchildren, Keller and Bowen; his grandchild Chase Minter (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Rylan, Reece, Rhett and Revel; his grandchildren, Kristian Suttle and Daralyn Pepmiller (James); his nephew Theron Newton; and his niece Melanie Jenkins.
