He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Beach Armstrong; his sister Rosalind Stringer; his brother-in-law Gary Schimmel; his children, Margie Albritton (Brenen), Freddy Armstrong Jr. and Janis Shelburne (John); and his grandchildren, Alyssa (Cole), Abigail, Jake and Emma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
