He was predeceased by : his parents, Sidney Baisden and Mary Baisden; his siblings, Dennis "Slim" Baisden, Darrell Baisden, Larry Baisden, Billy Joe Baisden, Jim Baisden, Anna Jean Hill, Joyce Rich and Virginia Kathleen Brown; his grandson Daniel Johnstone III; and his niece Joey Hedgepeth.

He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Vicky Dunn of Monroe, Mary Sledge (Daniel) of Marion, Cathy Breland, Selena Johnson (Daniel) of Cushing, Wendi Sandefur (Marcus) of Midland, Robert Nettles of Abilene and Brad Blazier of Tennessee; his sister-in-law Carolyn "Nubby" Thornton; his grandsons, Caleb Sellers, Ryan Breland, Devyn Nettles, Montanna Hernandez, TJ Johnson and Cameron Bishop; and his close friend Steve McKeithen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Coax Cemetery (140 LA-868, Winnsboro, LA 71295).
