She was predeceased by: her husband Meeks, Sr.; her parents, Frank Ellis and Velma Scroggins Chenault; and her brother John Ellis Chenault. She is survived by: her children, Sidney D. Meeks, Jr. (Deb), Sue Ellen Meeks Auttonberry (Leslie) and Ann Meeks Garvin (Ronnie); and her sisters, Mary Ellen Meeks and Carolyn Sue Bratton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
