He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Henry Hammonds and Regina Ching Hammonds. He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Reitzammer Hammonds; his children, Melodi Bennett Merritt (Kerry), Craig H. Hammonds (Amanda), Kyle Bennett, Paige Hammonds Carr (John) and Tye R. Hammonds; and his sister Ann Hammonds (Ken Catrino).
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291).
