He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Scarbrough of Texas and Bessie Lee Harrison Scarbrough of Oklahoma; his siblings, Bill, Tommy, Ernest, Pete, Frazier, Lena and Earlene; and his great grandchild Erica Ledger.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dean Yossett Scarbrough; his children, Charles Edward Scarbrough (Connie), Mary Kathleen Scarbrough Barfield (W. M.), Linda Scarbrough McNair (Dickie), Glenda Scarbrough Eppinette (Jerry) and Susan Scarbrough Long (Gary); his grandchildren, Shannon, Kristi, Bill, Lana, Chuck, Myndi, Shane Scarbrough, Mike Nance, Matt Long and Terry Long; and his great grandchildren, Chase Nance and Will Cannon. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
