She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Thomas Graves Jr.; her parents, Jesse Samuel and Eva Gertrude "Gertie" Lewis Miller; and her siblings, J. D. Miller, Jesse Miller, Vernita "Sweet" Alexander and Alice Evans Pipes.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaDonna Graves Hixon (Richard) and Karen Graves Barron (Alan); her grandchildren, Jayde Hixon (Jeigh), Hailey Hixon and Cody Barron; her great grandchildren, Maria Hixon and Randi Hixon; her sister Anita Miller Bourgeois; and her close friend Nancy Head. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McGuire United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA.
