It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Simpson of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Sterlington, Louisiana, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. A. Thompson and Susie Thompson; and her siblings, Jack, Theo, Gerald Thompson and Mary Waso.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Hollis of Farmerville; her grandson Jesse Cascio (Olivia) of Hartselle, AL; her great grandchild Oaklynne Brooke; her daughter Deidre Townsend of Fayetteville, AR; and her grandsons, Brandon Townsend (Ashley), Ryan Townsend and Colton Townsend of Fayetteville, AR.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Union Parish Humane Society in Farmerville, LA, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
