She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Viola and Vernie Viola; her sister Elsie Moore; and her grandparents, Cora, Bell Moore, Clophire and Saraphine Viola.
She is survived by: her husband Eddie Smith; her children, Lori Gaines, Kevin Smith, Justin Smith (Chelsea) and Joey Varnell; her grandchildren, Trae Obed (Anna), Kayleigh Lockard (Brad), Sarah Grace Obed, Cassidy Varnell, Garrett Varnell, Annagrace Cook, Gunner Smith, Isabella Smith and Amara Smith; her great grandchildren, Kara Arnold, Emmy Obed and Kade Obed; and her nephews, Mike and Kenny Brinson.
