He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Poe Mobley; his parents, Aubrey Mobley and Lavert Mobley; his children, Ricky D. Mobley and Lisa R. Mobley; his granddaughter Jessica Mobley Walle; and his brother Freddie F. Mobley.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Mobley, Doyle Mobley (Debra) and Dewaine Mobley (Allison); and his sister Eloise Guimbellott. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and a host of extended family and friends.
