He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Blanchard Hogg and Helen Bernice Alexander Hogg; his siblings, Richard Todd Hogg and Patricia Avant; and his daughter Krystal Gayle Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Hogg; his sisters, Genae Fields, LaNelle Richardson, Connie Crowell, Marilyn Alger and Jo Ann Partin; and his children, Virginia Carraway (Kelvin), Sarah Robinson (Sydney), Edsel, Sampson Bradley (Karen) and Daniel Lucas (Terra). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
