She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Douglas; her grandson Kyle Douglas; her great grandchild Jamie Faith Douglas; her parents, Emmett Leslie and Frances Whitman; and her siblings, Jimmy Whitman and Ruby Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Douglas (Linda) of League City, TX, Roger Douglas (Gari) of Navasota, TX and Beverly Stone (Mike) of West Monroe, LA; her grandsons, Jay Stone (Anna), Dr. Andy Stone (Maggie), Matt Stone (Catherine), Chris Douglas (Tara), Ross Douglas (Lindsey) and Reid Douglas (Rachael); her granddaughter-in-law Jamie Lawrence (Matt); and her sister-in-law Ellen Whitman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (215 Mt Vernon Church Rd, West Monroe, LA 71292). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Samaritan's Purse, or to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
