We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2023, at the age of 100, Edith Smalling of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Ola, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Monroe Smalling, Sr.; her son Allen Monroe Smalling, Jr.; her granddaughter Teresine Tarver; and her daughter-in-law Kimblea Smalling. She is survived by: her children, Virgle Smalling (Donna), C. P. Smalling (Renee), Mary Mullins (Jay), Eddie Ray Smalling, Buford Smalling (Rhonda), Laura Richard (Phillip), Inez Mason (George), Paul Smalling, Jerry Smalling (Derinda) and Mike Smalling (Beth); her daughter-in-law Joyce Lynn Smalling; and her sister Emma Dale Montpelier. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 49 great- grandchildren and 8 great-great- grandchildren.
