It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dovie Lenard Parker of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edwards and Dollie Edwards; her siblings, Dexter Edwards, Doris Hieman and Dorothy "Dot" Ott; her former husband James L. "Dick" Lenard; her son Steve Lenard; and her grandson Caden Lindsay.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Parker; her children, Clint Lenard (Tonya), Dovieta Broom (Kelvin) and Darla Lindsay (Mike); her daughter-in-law Cathy McGuire (Aryon); her grandchildren, Tobie Bryan, Amy Weeks, Heather Broom Holdiness, Matt Broom, Jordan Broom, Quint Lenard, Addison Lindsay, Bria Lindsay, Dawson Lindsay and Emery Lindsay; and her stepchildren, Phillip Parker (Deanni), Beverly Loveridge (Dave) and Kathy Hargrove (Tom). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law.
