She was predeceased by: her husband J. B. Byrd; her parents, Walter Bell and Mendia Bell; and her siblings, Barbara "Bobby" Turner, Stanley E. Bell and Kenneth W. Bell.

She is survived by: her children, Lesa Byrd Wilks (Jason) and Wade Byrd (Jodi); and her grandsons, Connor Wilks, Carter Wilks and Caleb Byrd.
