He was predeceased by: his sisters, Edith, Leola, Janitta, Mary, Agatha and Peggy.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, May Fuss (Randy) and Michelle Jahnke; and his stepchildren, Sherry Linzmeier (Ron), Sue Terry (Ron), Roland Tordeur (Kerry) and Sandi Van Handel (Lynn). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
