He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis and Marie; his granddaughter Alexis; and his siblings, Donice and Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Nanella Talley; his children, Tammy Rainwater (Sean), Toshia Bearden (Steve Dixon) and Talion Talley (Heather); his grandchildren, Brandon Yarbrough, Garrett Talley, Dillon Rainwater, Victoria Seymour, Caitlin Rainwater, Austin Bolding, Ella and McKenna Talley; his siblings, Fay Martin, Carol Jean Talley and Mike Talley; his close friends, Betty Bundy, Ruby Benefield and Lonnie; and his grandsons, Garret Talley and Cross Talley.

In lieu of flowers donation should be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
