She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Cook; her children, Charlotte Aday, Debbie Aday and Michael Cabiness; her parents, Dennis Brady and Fannie Mae Brady; and her siblings, Bertha Martin, Dorothy Brady, Shirley Mitchell, Susie Mae Brady and Thomas Brady.
She is survived by: her son David Aday; her daughter-in-law Tommie; and her brother Preston Brady of South Carolina. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
