It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Devon Lewis Sr. (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Pioneer, Louisiana, who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Harper Lewis and Joseph Franklin Lewis; and his siblings, Willie Caviness, Lois Peek, Edith Fowler, Glennie Long, Barbara Morgan, Quitman Lewis, O. Z. Lewis, Arnold Lewis and Bobby Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Stella; his sons, Devon Lewis, Jr. (Renee) and Jeff Lewis (Alida); his grandchildren, Shelly Haarala (Marc), Devon Lewis III (Mai), Patrick Lewis, Benjamin Lewis, Jordan Lewis, Emily Lewis Svendson (Eric), Abigail Lewis and Isabel Lewis; his great grandchildren, Olivia Haarala, Emma Haarala, Madison Lewis, Hannah Lewis and Hayden Haarala; and his siblings, Mary Hillman of Epps, LA and Ernest Lewis (Helen) of West Monroe.
