He was predeceased by: his mother LaVada Robinson; his stepfather Chester Robinson; his father Luther Lee Love; and his brothers, Gary Wayne Love, Daniel Ira Love and Douglas Lee Love.

He is survived by: his pets, Paco and Shakey; his wife Rebecca Brady Love; his children, Rachel Love Stevens (Rob), Candace Cornwell (Ralph), LaVada Denise Fonseca, Dennis Love Jr. and Dusty Campbell; and his siblings, Sharon Bastean (Pete), Robert Palmer and Earl Love (Karen). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
