He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chapman and Juanita Chapman; and his sister Julia Juanita Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Strange Chapman; his daughters, Julie Chapman Brasfield (Buster), Ginger Chapman Morris (Craig) and Jessica Chapman Shelton (Danny); his siblings, Ralph Chapman (Ramona), Arden Chapman (Melanie), Elma Jo Elms (Chris) and Amanda Roka; and his grandchildren, Tristan Polk, Vivian Brasfield, Chasey Morris, Bryce Brasfield and Giana LaPietra. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
