It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danelle Leigh Avant of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph "Joe" Avant; and her grandparents, James "Buck", Bernice Avant, Sheriff Sanford and Clara Jordan.
She is survived by: her mother Wandra "Sue" Avant; her brother David Avant (Deidre); her nieces, Rusti Murphy (Zach), Kari Beth Avant and Maggie Avant; her great-nephew Ransom Murphy; and her close friend Paul New.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter, or River City Humane Society for cats.
