It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Wamble of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Pearl Wamble; his parents, Roy Wamble and Caroline Wamble; his children, James Curtis Wamble and Melba Lynn Smith Brooks; his great grandchild Summer Wamble; and his sister Bertha Jean Adams.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, LeAnne Smith, Frances Sturdivant (Jeff), Michael Wamble (Jayme), James Smith Jr. (Tina) and Paul Wamble. He is also survived by 15 great- grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
