He is survived by: his wife Mary Smitherman; his children, Calvin (Vicky Golden) of West Monroe, LA, Paul (Cindy Golden) of West Monroe, LA, Marc Murdoch of Riverside, CA and Paula Golden of West Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Kristy, Dusty, Daniel (Emily), Lindsey and Corey; his great grandchildren, Ledger and Griffin; and his brother Calude Smitherman of Longview, Texas.
