He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Houston Williams and Susan Iberia Young Williams; his wife Mary Ruth Monnin Williams; his siblings, Rita Jean Williams, Willie Williams, Melvin Williams and Lenora Williams Hoss; and his son Adam DeWayne Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Ida Lawana "Wanda" Bruffett, Beverly Kay Freeman, Tonyia Tonore and Tafta Sauseda; and his stepchildren, Lisa Grannon, Patricia Jackson, Wanda Vallery, Ricky Stewart and Danny Stewart. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
