He was predeceased by: his parents, Gillis Cupit and Ileatha Cupit; his brothers, Everette Cupit, Nolan Cupit and Shirley "Pete" Cupit; his nephews, Gillis Cupit and Gill Cupit; and his niece Charlotte Nicholson.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Judy Cupit Clark (Ronnie), Mike Cupit, Kathy Sanson (Rick), Scott Cupit (Jennifer), Ashley Tarver (Cary) and Kenny Cupit; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Cupit and Connie Cupit.
Memorial donations may be made to Highland Baptist Church West Monroe Building Fund.
