He is survived by: his spouse Gail Joiner; his children, Charles Scott Joiner, Leigh Miller, Eddie Johnson and Eric Johnson; his grandchildren, Evie, Jack, Eli Miller (Elliot Johnson) and Judge Charles E. (Laura Jean Joiner); and his sister Diane Cason.
