He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Hood (Laura), Bubba Hood (Beverly), Janice Robinson (Scott), Chris Hood and David Hood; his siblings, Sam Hood (Joanne) and Shirley Kelley (George); and his grandchildren, Scotty Robinson (Ashley), Susan Schwab (Steven), Jennifer Robinson (Curt Stutts), Jordan Robinson, Nick Hood (Ashley), Johnny Hood (Rebecca), Chad Hood (Amanda) and Steven Hood.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Highland Baptist Church (1509 Arkansas Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (1635 Carrollton Ave, Greenwood, MS 38930).
