He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine C. Downs (Cathy) of Shelbyville, KY; his daughter Cindy Bailey of West Monroe; his mother Frances Earl Goatley (Mary Hayden) of Mayfield, KY.; and his siblings, Francis Loretta Ruggeri of Tulsa, OK., Joseph H. and Lawrence H Goatley of Mayfield, KY..
He is survived by: his son Eddie Goatley (Dianne); his grandchildren, Chris Goatley (Betty Jo), Stefanie Sant (Allen), Stacy Goatley and Brandy Goatley; and his sisters, Ruby Ziegler (Larry) of Gurley, AL, Martha Moore (Gary) and Lady of Lake, FL.. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous children, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paschal Catholic Church (711 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291).
