The passing of Carleen Reeves of West Monroe, Louisiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carleen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carleen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Bess Selton Griffin and Sybil Bailey Griffin of Pioneer, Louisiana.. She is survived by: her husband Johnny L. Reeves; her daughter Christina Reeves Powers; her son-in-law Paul (Johnette Reeves) of Fairhope; and her grandchildren, Summerlyn Addie Powers of Nashville, Ashlyn Pearl Powers of Fairhope, Alabama and Ladd Smith Powers of Fairhope, Alabama.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Northeast Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery (2413 US-425, Rayville, LA 71269).
