She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Edward Sawyer and Willie Lee Sawyer of Union Parish; her husband James Tisdale; and her sister Billie Butler. She is survived by: her brother Edward Sawyer; and her children, Debbie White (Wade), Ken Tisdale (Robyn), Kaye Robinson (John) and Rhonda Tisdale. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
