He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Robertson and Dorothy Robertson; his children, Keith Robertson and Donna Gail Robertson; and his siblings, Larry, James "Buster", Vernon "Reece", Ida Mae, Shirley and Dolly.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Wood Robertson; his children, Billy Dock Robertson, Jr. (Angie), Paul John Robertson (Theresa) and Kristy Jane Joiner (Chad); his daughter-in-law Lisa Robertson; and his siblings, Carter, Roy and Cathy. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren.
